Handmade Writing instruments and More.
Machined in Colorado.

What I’ve been working on recently…

One of a kind writing instruments, tools, and functional art

My name is Drew Kenyon, I am a machinist from Boulder, Colorado. I have been obsessed with fixing and making things for most of my life, which eventually lead me to the world of machining with the purchase of a 1941 Atlas 10F lathe.

Having the ability to take any idea and turn it into a real, metal object got me hooked on learning everything I could about manual and CNC machining. I spent as much time as I could in front of the lathe and mill, turning handles; making spinning tops, knobs, cannons, tools, pens, flashlights, hammers, beads, and whatever else I could come up with. This helped me gain a solid background in manual machining, as well as learning to maintain and repair antique machinery.

Hobby machining eventually grew into a career, working in the medical, automotive, and aerospace industries, but I have continued to collect machinery and tinker in my own small shop in my spare time, with a focus on one of a kind writing instruments, tools, and more. I hope to be able to grow and share my creations with a wider audience in the near future, as I expand my own shop as well as hone my skills as a machinist.
